Preservation
Rantoul and the surrounding area have so much history and stories to tell. The Illini Inn and Suites is formerly a visiting officers housing unit. We wanted to breathe life back into the former air force base and continue the heritage of Rantoul’s military history. Instead of leveling a historic building and building new, we wanted to celebrate the history of Rantoul and share that history with our guest. Together we preserve what we love and love what we preserve.
